  • When it’s been several months since you've had an appointment with the specialist, you do not need a new referral to be seen. However, if there has been a change in your overall health, or if your medications have changed, please ask your referring doctor to send our office a note to update your clinical record and manage your care appropriately.

  • A walk-in practice, virtual care, or urgent care centre can provide a referral. Explain that you don’t have a doctor and need a further referral to your specialist.

  • The gastroenterologist will prioritize your referral, and you will be notified when we are ready to schedule an appointment. If you have any questions, please call the referring office.
