When it’s been several months since you've had an appointment with the specialist, you do not need a new referral to be seen. However, if there has been a change in your overall health, or if your medications have changed, please ask your referring doctor to send our office a note to update your clinical record and manage your care appropriately.

A walk-in practice, virtual care, or urgent care centre can provide a referral. Explain that you don’t have a doctor and need a further referral to your specialist.

The gastroenterologist will prioritize your referral, and you will be notified when we are ready to schedule an appointment. If you have any questions, please call the referring office.
