Dr. Evon Neong is a Gastroenterologist with a special interest in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation.

Dr. Neong attended the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in England to complete her Bachelor of Science in Medicine and her Medical Degree. She completed her training in General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in North West Thames London. She subsequently completed her General Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Calgary and pursued a Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Toronto and Toronto General Hospital, which currently runs one of the largest liver transplant programs in North America. Dr. Neong joined the Kelowna Gastroenterology Associates in 2019. 

Dr. Neong has research interest in renal dysfunction in end-stage liver disease and has published research in various recognized Gastroenterology and Hepatology journals, including Hepatology, American Journal of Gastroenterology, Clinics in Liver Disease and Expert Review of Gastroenterology & Hepatology.
